We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at West Portal Church a great one!


You might be wondering, what's it really like at West Portal Church? Simply stated, we're all about Jesus. You won't be met with shame, guilt, or condemnation. Our church is made up of imperfect people with every kind of story imaginable.


Want to know the best part? No matter what you've been through or what questions you might have about God and faith, our church is a place where you'll find the love, grace, and forgiveness that Jesus gives to everyone.

  • WHAT IS CONNECTION TIME?

    Connection Time happens every Sunday, except for long weekends and during summer (June through mid-September). This is a time where we have age-specific programming for kids and youth, age 1 - Grade 12.


    Age 1-2: Toddler Connections

    Age 3-Grade 6: Kids Connection

    Grade 7-12: Youth Connection

What can I expect?

  • HOW LONG IS A WEST PORTAL CHURCH SERVICE?

    In total, a church service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with announcements and music, before proceeding into the sermon. Following the sermon will be a time of prayer & worship. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

    Sunday's at West Portal are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
