Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at West Portal Church a great one!
West Portal Church meets in-person and online every Sunday morning at 9:45AM. Our live stream is also made available for watching later. In-person Connection Time follows at 11:00AM.
WHAT IS CONNECTION TIME?
Connection Time happens every Sunday following our worship service, except for long weekends and during summer. This is a time where we run age-specific programming.
Each Sunday there is an Adult Discussion Time where we dig deeper into the sermon. There are also various classes offered throughout the year, including Alpha, Baptism, Membership, etc. Find out about our current offerings here.

What can I expect?
HOW LONG IS A WEST PORTAL CHURCH SERVICE?
In total, a church service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with announcements and a song before proceeding into the sermon. Following the sermon will be a time of prayer & worship. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.
In-person Connection Time follows at 11:00AM until NOON. There is age-specific programming during this time.
WHAT IS THE CULTURE LIKE AT WEST PORTAL CHURCH?
Sunday's at West Portal are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
WHAT PRECAUTIONS IS WEST PORTAL CHURCH TAKING WITH COVID-19 IN MIND?
Hand sanitizer is available and surfaces are cleaned regularly. Mask use is up to the individual. We ask that you respect what others decide to do.
