When a silver cup turns up in Benjamin's sack, it exposes far more than a theft — it forces Joseph's brothers to finally reckon with what they did to him decades earlier, and it's Judah who steps forward to take the cup's judgment on himself. That single moment echoes a bigger biblical pattern: Scripture describes God's wrath as a cup that fills up, and yet also describes His blessing as a cup that overflows. Both meet at the table Christ sets, where the cup He drank in our place becomes the cup He now hands to us in grace.
